Ok, ok we know this is a Persian recipe, but it is a staple in many Armenian households. Its a simple dish that is perfect for any meal, or as a healthy snack.
Things You Will Need:
Chef’s Knife
Medium Mixing Bowl
Measuring Spoon
Cutting Board
Large Spoon
Ingredients:
3 Persian cucumbers
1 pint European style yogurt
1 Tbs. Dried mint or Dill
Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Instructions:
Chop cucumbers with skin on into 1/4″ pieces, and add to mixing bowl along with remaining ingredients and mix well. Salt and pepper to taste. Chill, then serve.
Chef’s Tips:
You can add raisins and garlic powder to this dish to make it a little sweeter or more savory. Serve with warm pita bread or along side some Kabob. Also good with Karmir Plav.
